The numbers are in, and they show last month was Minnesota's coldest December since 2000.
Climatologist Pete Boulay says that while Wright County was spared some of the heaviest snow, some parts of Minnesota measured record December snowfall. Boulay says if trends continue this could be the closest to what many people think of as a traditional Minnesota winter as we've had in many years.
