The Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety is reminding residents about the dangers of a natural gas leak.
Chief engineer Elizabeth Skalnek says anything that can cause a spark could lead to an explosion when there's the right amount of gas in the home.Skalnek says gas leaks are more common in the winter because most Minnesotans use natural gas to heat their homes. A gas leak led to an explosion that destroyed a home in Edina on Tuesday afternoon.
